Shudder on take off.

Towed about 9k 800 miles in two days.Noticed when getting off Interstate ramp to get fuel and stopping at end of ramp then starting off I had a rapid shudder through 1st and 2nd gear. After getting fuel and starting off it was gone.Next day same deal but worse. As day wore on and I stopped for fuel or reat area it did it more and more.On way home on main roads off interstate it now does it every time I stop and start from redlights.Feels like posi shudder but I think may be a u/joint? I looked at them here at home last night and saw nothing obvisous with them. 24k on odometer, diff serviced at 15k with Amsoil Severe gear.

I think you have one seizing up on you. It may not be real noticeable on a visual inspection, you may have to drop the driveshaft and try to move the joints by hand to find the bad one.

agreed...definitely a driveshaft u-joint ready to die or already dead. Just replaced two in my driveshaft.

I have the same issue with my 16k trailer, and only at the onramps. Mine was the axle wrapping on the bottom with the load and was fixed with traction bars. I fixed the same problem on my furd with bars.

I think its a u/joint.It got worse on the second day of the trip and continued all the way to home and parking rig which took some backing and pulling forward several times, every time I pulled forward it did it.This morning I had to take trailer 30 odd miles of slow two lane with a couple stops along the way and nothing, drove, pulled fine.No shudder. That 60 to 70 mph substained pulling is what brought it on.

Yup... U joint... Soon you will develop the squeek at low speeds...
I had a heck of a time replacing mine... I didn't have a press so I tried to make the bench vise work and broke it... Sledge hammer and socket finally did the trick.
If it is the rear shaft U's go ahead and do both while it is off... Might save you some time and frustration later since they are only $15.

Any greasable joints on the market that fit correctly?
