Question Shimming Rear Axle

How do you shim rear axle for takeoff vibration and 70 to 85 vib I have read driveshaft angle is off. If so how to and where do I get shimes? 2005 Dodge 3500 Dulley Heavy Duty

Your not shimming the axle you are shimming the hanger bearing,I think 1/2 inch is a good starting point for a stock height truck. Get some 1/2 inch bar stock and cut to length and drill two holes ,get longer grade 8 bolts. For the vibration check all your U joints very closly,look for rust around the bearing caps they can be dryed out rusted and you might not feel play in them.
