Mine fires right up, no smoke, no rough idle. All my injectors tested good on the ohm meter (.5-.7). Rail pressure, I checked Thursday. Engine off, read 0 then showed 20, vice versa. Idle was 6800-7200 and a light throttle spike went to 16,000. Hard spike showed 20,000. I'm going to go and re-torque all the tube hold down nuts, and I just got done cleaning the injector harnesses and the rail sensor connection.

how did you view your rail pressure? with a scanner?

mine idles around 5100, 16K down the highway under slight pull, 10K just cruising, 20K+ if i hit it hard.

That's something I need to do is change the FCA. I'm getting some light throttle surging and down on power in the lower rpm range.

They had a $16,000 Snap On tool to read. Even had them do an injector kill test, #3 and #4 weren't so hot. I bought a $55 quart of BG injector cleaner, and hooked my EZ back up. Ran like a raped ape before, but the EZ woke it up even more so.

a friend of mine was a snap on dealer, i stopped by and he hook up his bazillion dollar scanner to mine. all was good then.

i bought a Autometer rail pressure gauge, i can watch it all the time now.

the only bad thing is the needle doesn't move until it's running for 2-3 seconds. i was hoping i could see the pressure when cranking, it should be 2,000 PSI when cranking then jump to 5. if the computer doesn't see 2K it wont start i was told.

I'm looking into a manual gauge i can hook up temporarily under the hood if i ever have a no start problem again.
