rear end clunk??
rear end clunk??
I've got a 2004 3500 that has had a banging/clunking sound over heavy bumps (ie.railroad tracks, cattleguards, large pothole/bumps) since new. It sounds like someone is hitting the box with a sledge hammer. My dealer and myself have checked it over and everything seems tight. The only thing I can think of are the overloads but I would be suprised If these would make this much noise when they contact. Has anyone heard of this problem or is this normal for a 1 ton truck??
