Raptor lift pump questions

Ok, Truck is now past warranty. Lift pump refused to fail. I had forced it to throw some codes and was going to get the in tank setup under warranty but my retired LEO conscience got the best of me.
Anyway, I am going to order the Raptor rp100 because I have no mods and it seems to be the easiest install. I had a few questions though:
1. Can I still use stock fuel filters or do I have to get a different fuel filter setup?
2. It says that no return line is needed but can I still connect the return line to it or do I have to cap the old return line?
3. Should I get a fuel pressure gauge even with everything else remaining stock?
4. How do I clear the codes that I now have (they make me feel guilty).

Hey, buddy.

You can use stock filters.
The one I did had a return line off the pump, but if yours does not, just leave the stock one where it is.
I would strongly recommend a FP gauge.
Take the truck by an auto parts store, they should have a code reader that will clear the codes.

Hope that helps :) If you need some more info, I've done a Raptor before. They are really easy.

Really appreciate the info. I dont know why, but I like the idea of having the return line. Seems like it would help keep the fuel a little more filtered or something but I guess it really wouldnt matter either way. Anyway, gonna order it. Any recomendations on a FP Guage? I am kind of thinking about an EGT guage also but dont think I could install it myself without making a mess.

The egt gauge is very easy... just need a tap and a drill bit. Some axle grease will help a lot too, and a big magnet.

I can walk you through it no problem.

I have isspro gauges, I have not had any problems with mine for over 4 years now.

Never thought about using a magnet for the shavings. I have two finger pinching super magnets. Thanks again!

I wish we could get a double gauge pillar mount! All I want is a FP Gauge ad Pyro! but I dont want any of that on my dash or anything.
