Ran out of fuel
My wife ran my truck out of fuel today. I don't know how long it sputtered in the process but it started after 2 tries when I put more fuel in but now it takes alot of cranking to get it started but seems to be running fine. Could something of been damaged?

I would change fuel filter before I really started to worry. probably sucked a lot of trash from the bottom of the tank into the filter

It's more likely some residual air that hasn't worked it's way out yet. Clogged filters show up during heavy power not starting. See if it gets better after a little running time. John |
