question about used 2005 3500 drw

I traded my 03 on a explorer about 1 1/2 years ago. I really miss having a truck some I"m looking at trading again. I found a really nice looking 05 dually 4x4 quad cab with 59K miles and 48RE. They're asking $28000 for it. It looks really nice.
What's all changed between 03 and 05 besides the 05 having a cat?
My 03 got 17mpg overall driving. Would the 05 get about the same?

Any other things to look out for on an 05?

thanks

They went up to 325hp/600ft Plus a 3rd injector. And ofcourse the kitty. A lot of people are complaing about fuel mileage on the 05's but a few mods seem to help it along

That extra 10lbs is why they are getting such poor mileage

Beware that some of the early 05 only trucks came with plastic end caps on the intercooler. DC finally realized the error of their ways and went back to metal.

I have a few more weeks left on carfax. I can run the VIN number for that truck if you are thinking about getting it.

thanks for the offer, I did run a CARFAX on it and it didn't flag any problems. I also ran a CARFAX on a Ford they had and it had been wrecked three times.

I'll try to post a link to the ad for the truck:
