Problem solved, maybe.
Problem solved, maybe.
I had to tow the truck to the dealer today with my dad's Chevy
.
Anyhow, it layed down the symptoms right in front of the service manager. No start, tough start, stall. I tugged on the FCA wires in front of him to show him that when it clicked like it should, it would start but if I let go it would die. So, he knows exactly what is happening to that end.
My question is how deep could this go? Could it be just the FCA or could it go as far as the CP3 or lift pump.

Any time a wiggle test causes something to work then it is 99.99% of the time just a bad/dirty connection. Worse case would be since they do not have many true repairmen anymore they would want to replace the wiring harness.
Well, the maybe is up in the air. They found some bent/cracked contacts and replaced them as needed. Of course as I get about 3/4mi away from the dealership it stalled. Gave me one no start, then fired right up. I called the service manager and told him it could be a fluke and he agreed(of course). It's a waiting game now.
