Power Service and MMO mix

I was reading a thread on one of the other Dodge Diesel forums, and it seems a mix of Power Service and Marvel Mystery Oil is a popular thing over there. Why are people getting such good results from this mix, and what damage, if any, are the doing to their fuel system. I havent seen any talk about this over here. I've been running Stanadyne in every fillup. I dont know if it works, but it is a peace of mind thing.

the oly thing I would be nervous about is gettin that marve blended before it reaches the fuel pickup, that stuff is thick like molases, I would want to pre blend it with fuel in a container first then add it to the tank IF I were to try using it, I use the stanadyne myself at every tank.

Must be thinking of something else. MMO is thin, like ATF.

I tried MMO several different times in my 99 throughout the years, I also used PS on every tank and every time I would add MMO it would give me lift pump problems. The fuel pressure would fluctuate rapidly up and down. Never seen any fuel mileage improvements or improvments of any kind.

The thing I don't like about MMO is really in it's name Mystery oil, really don't know what's in it and if the ingredients in it can cause harm. In my opinion I will stay away from it.

I have been using PS Kleen in every tank for about 12000 miles. I started using a mix of 3 parts PS to 1 part MMO a few tanks ago. I pre-mix in PS bottle and use 16oz in every tank now. Mileage on the last two tanks was up about .5-1mpg. Dont know if the MMO had anthing to do with it or not. I will run this additive mix until my next oil/fuel filter change and decide weather to continue or not.
