Possible fan clutch / pulley noise

I've always been curious about a noise from the fan area my engine makes when temps drop below 40*, it also only does it when below operating temp. e.g. cold starts.

It's not a ticking or boost type noise, but more like if you were to hold a soft piece of material against a bench grinder.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks, Eric

I had some what the same thing and i wound up replacing the fan clutch carrior barring. the fix was not to hard but the Cummings Barring is high $....$113.00 to be right. You can find a non cummings barring for cheeper though. Search fan clutch or fan hub noise.
