Ping Noise pleae "help"
 

Noticed like 5 min's ago that there seems to be a ping ping ping noise coming from what im guessing is in the head when running. Could this be a injecter rattle?? Or some thing else going on, it doesent seem to be a metal to metal contact either, it almost makes a musical note lol thats a weird analogy. any suggestions

Mine does the same thing when it's cold, could be injector or timing rattle, your Bullydog probally advances the timing. I notice mine alot more on the cold mornings. Hopefully that answers your question, anyone with a better suggestion or answer please chime in. Take it easy, I'm from Leth. too.:cool:

Thats possibly whats going on, but i can hear it while at light throttle aswell. After engine is warmed up i can hear it but not as loud as on first start up. Thats cool your from Deathbridge too, ill have to look out for ya.[guitar]..

yeah my truck does it to glade to know not the only one ive got the bully dog pmt i noticed mine doing it when i stoped at a light or at idle the way i fixed mine is if u have the pmt or something comperable enable u d fueling setting it shuts off ur chip for a while tell u truck cool back down to bout 195 or so an the injector will stop rattling around its gets about anoying *** **** when it startsing getting cold but i havent noticed anywhite smoke or damge done so it must just be one of those things
