Overload springs

Ok here is my question. I had a 02 with factory overloads but my 05 does not have them. Did they put the overloads on the 05's? If so anybody have the part numbers for them?

they put them on 3500's, yes you can buy them but seems most go with air bags instead.

My 05 and my 06 came with factory overload springs. I think all 3500 do. If you need more capacity you may want to look at some air bags. I love the Firestone ride rights that I just installed on my dually.

Look up Super Springs, they are much easier to install and can be removed and put on another truck. Takes about 30 min. to install them.

03+ 2500 doesn't have overloads, 3500 does...

My dad is considering adding overloads to his 06 2500... He is looking at the factory ones, this way when he is heavy there are 5 point of contact on the frame, vs 3 (he has airbags)... The aftermarket overloads wont add contact points.

Over Load Springs

Had air bags, had factory overload springs. Found out about "Timbrens" on this web site. Best item I have bought for my truck. 2004.5

The timbrens are a good product if your always loaded, but the airbags and overloads are passive, which IMHO is better for a DD/Tow rig.

Timbrens

Timbrens don't do a thing till you put a load in the bed.
