OPTI-LUBE is the REAL DEAL!

I started using the Opti Lube XPD and Summer formula over the last few tanks of Diesel. Today was the first time I got to really test my mileage. Using the Summer blend ( 1 ounce treats 20 gallons!!!!) I drove 411 miles round trip, Unloaded, Highway miles, Cruise set at 65 ( Approx 2000 RPM) and I got 27.85 MPG. Hand calculated. I filled at the eaxct same pump when I left town and Refilled at the same exact pump when I got home... Truck runs great on it!!! at ONE ounce per 20 gallons, EXCELLENT results! Can't wait until this weekend I will be towing my large Living quarters horse trailer on the same route.. Will see if my towing mileage improves. So far very satisfied!

YOu can get it online at www.opti-lube.com SInce I live in Sunny Southern Calif, I am using the "Summer BLend Formula" one Quart treats 720 gallons. If you live in a colder climate you might want to try the XPD formula. It's 7 ounces per 20 gallons but has the anti Gel. BOTH OPti Lube products were in the top 5 lubricity study results... hope that helps!

1 oz per 20 gallons huh ? maybe I am using too much, I am not seeing nearly the results you are, what was your mileage without the opti lube? Cost being what it is on this product I doubt I will ever buy another gallon of it.

Summer blend is 1 oz per 20 gallons, the XPD is like 7 ounces per 20. Without the Opti Lube I was running the MMO/PS mix and was getting about 22-23 MPG empty highway... It is so weird how these engines are so different yet theor supposed to be the same!!! SOme trucks love the TCW3, some hate it, You would think they were all the same!!!!! I am going to try it pulling the trailer next weekend! Will keep the numbers coming... Right now I get 12-13 MPG Pulling my BIg trailer...

Be careful not to be comparing apples to oranges...don't 4X2's get better mileage to start than 4X4's?

It appears that your truck is stock also...no power add-ons, is that correct?

The only power add-ons he's got are his air bags!! He's bone stock. It will be interesting to see his towing numbers.

You need to get that beast weighed Roperteacher, that way those who tow can get an idea of what kind of weight can also have decent mileage.

Sounds good man. I may have to try that stuff if it really increases your mileage so good. What was your mileage before the optilube?
