My God! If I can get 11 more mpg, I think I'm going to convert to 2wd.

Well I can pretty much guarantee that it ain't gonna jump from 13mpg - 28mpg from a fuel additive.

Even gaining 6-7mpg like Roperteacher is saying doesn't really seem possible. That's a really huge difference in the way an engine is running to lose/gain over 20% fuel mileage. That means it could go an additional 210 miles on a single tank. Not trying to be a naysayer man, but it just doesn't seem physically possible to gain that kind of increase from just an additive. Maybe there was an error in the calculation or a very strong tail wind?

My favorite topic.....teh MPG claim Yeah, 6 MPG increase with an additive, the stories around here get taller by the day Wow, why don't you run JUST teh OptiLube and get 1000MPG, THAT makes more sense to me 27MPG out of our trucks, YEAH. Sure is funny how all teh real world claims, our trucks get 14-20 MPG, and along comes this mysterious needle in teh haystack truck taht gets more than 33%-50% better fuel economy than all teh other trucks. You need to check your math, as there is no WAY you are getting 27 MPG on #2 and DRIVING your truck. Maybe on Propane, or someone is pulling your truck, or you are driving 45 MPH, than MAYBE you are getting 27MPG. Other than those situations, it ain't happening.

Well, with teh Optilube, YOU CAN!!! Didn't you hear???? This mysterious additive that will get you an extra 6MPG for every ounce you add to your tank, will ALSO change your truck from 4wd to 2wd!!!!! Yep, I saw it happen. Strangest thing....the guy was adding Optilubne to his tank, and all of a sudden, teh front axle just vanished. And then, the Tcase. Man, I have seen some crazy things, but THAT was the spookiest. I PAINTED my truck with Optilube, and made my truck invisible...now I don't burn any diesel at all. Yep, just like a nuclear reactor.

Make sure you all Naysayers go back and READ my posts. I never said mine went from 13-12 MPG!!!!!! My PREVIOUS unloaded highway mileage was about 22-23 and NOW with the Opti Lube it's 27.. SO it jumped 4 MPG.....

I almost didn't even post my numbers on here as I would be rediculed for being an Idiot but I took the chance... Thats why In my 2nd post I said not to think I was nuts!! SO with the OPri Lube I am seeing a 4 MPG Increase....

I am not putting it down, as I believe in additives. I run Marvel Mystery Oil, Diesel Kleene, and have tried Lucas and Amsoil as well. What I DON"T believe is a 6 MPG increase or 27MPG out of our trucks BECAUSE OF IT. If I get ANY increase in MPG because of an additive, I would be happy. And I am talking about an increase of .25-.50 MPG increase. So, if I went from 17MPG and started getting 17.5 MPG BECAUSE of an additive, I would be THRILLED. If you can tell me with a straight face that I will get a 6MPG increase because of this ADDITVE, I will drive to where ever you are, and will try it with you in my truck. If it gets a 6 MPG increase, I will give you my truck. Serious. I will give you my truck, no kidding. If I do not get an increase of AT LEAST 2 MPG, you owe me fuel money for my drive. That's it, that is all I ask. We can use your truck, whatever. Does not matter to me, as I KNOW that it is an IMPOSSIBLITY for that to happen. I am ready to put this crap to bed. I tried getting a MPG test going when the DHRA hit town, but then all lof a sudden, all these 25MPG guys disappeared. You want to claim that, great, fine...whatever, but as long as you do, I am going to discredit it until someone wants to prove it to me.

Hmmm...seems the numbers are getting a little skewed already!

27.85 is more like 28 than 27. I mean, if you can get almost 30mpg then rounding it up 0.15 shouldn't be a problem (that's only like 0.5% difference you know).

So getting 28mpg from your usual 22-23mpg is a 5-6mpg increase. That's a 21% - 27% increase. Not to change the subject, but you wouldn't believe the size of this fish I caught the other day...when nobody was around...without my camera...

I could care less if the claims here are true or false. The bashing is going to stop and you guys are going to be civilized. If you don't like his claims then look elsewhere.

Who is bashing? We are disputing his claims is all. There is no name calling, or such. Maybe I am exaggerating his claims with some of my own, but there are no malicious remarks made. I mean, if someone can come on here and make such claims, then why can't we dispute it? So far, there has been a comical post (by me) and a post with mathematical formula's to prove his theory is being exaggerated. How is that bashing?
