Normal behavior?

Well I got the Raptor100 installed, put my FP gauge in, dialed in pressure to ~16psi in the line that leads from CAT 2micron outlet to CP3 inlet, and drove to work today. After putzing in endless traffic and back roads, I let 'er rip a bit on the highway. I put out a small haze just before turbo spooled in 4th (6spd), and I noticed that when the truck hit about 2300RPM, it had almost a hiccup, and power hit a wall past that (not much, shifted around 2500). I am on STOCK programming, just a straight pipe. Was that the stock defueling point? Also, I notice that when I was driving the truck and it wasn't completely warmed up yet, it was putting out what appeared to be a haze when I was lazily driving along at ~1500 RPM in 5th. At idle nothing. I realize diesels smoke (and this isn't my first), but I am just making sure it's normal and not a sign of horrifying things to come...................... Thanks for the input, this forum has a boatload of information.

Sounds normal to me. Could be defueling or wastegate opening. If I rember right that is what my truck did way back when I was stock.

The "hiccup" part doesn't seem normal. My trucks is stock and pulls past 3k without hesitating.
