Well guy's, I just got off the phone with my area sales manager, and it looks like Dodge will be back to kickin butt and takin names. Thats right, the new power numbers will be 325hp/600ft-lbs. and 50 state legal [eyecrazy] :o :D :D :D

If I didn't have the EZ on mine I may have to be up set, but I am not.
I wonder if their is any chance of getting an 03-04 reprogrammed to the new levels. I would about bet that is all that changed, is the programming, other then the whole PCV thing. |

Wondering myself if the '03-04 HO's can be flashed for the newer HP/Torque numbers. But the codes pertaining to the EGR equipment would have to be deleted.

Is all this related to the supposed 10 Dec press release?
I saw an online article about a new 6.1, but it turned out that the engine in question was a larger hemi, and about 400 HP I believe. Gotta love the marketing wars! No matter, we'll all be better off for it. Heck, I'd give up some horsey's for a couple hundred more torques! |

And that new engine will come out just as soon as they produce an automatic tranny that can withstand the abuse during the warranty period.

Will this engine have EGR? They give you any other info about any upgrades to the engine? All they had to do was get a better air box and true 4 inch exhaust!!

Its a 5.9 inline 6. All their testing for the upcoming tighter emmisions is being done on this engine so their not going to change the engine configueration now.
