Get the 555. It is not as quiet, and may be a little less power, but from reading this forum, it looks like the 555 has less problems and better mileage. I am VERY happy with my 555.

For an ST model, I would think you should be around $30,000 or less. I got my SLT, 6 speed with limited slip, towing package, towing mirrors, and aluminum wheels for $30,500. Keep working it!

Just curious......What is a good price for a totally loaded 600 Laramie Auto Quad, with EVERY imaginable option, including the GPS radio. Sticker on this unit was over 47K!!! (Got way down from that, and couldn't be happier....just curious).

Go someplace like costcoauto.com or kbb.com, find out invoice on the truck as you want it, take 2% off that, take off any rebates. That's a GREAT price.

www.carsdirect.com is a good source for pricing info too, tho I think they are a bit expensive at times.

MSRP: $44,715
Invoice: $39,541
My Price: $38,541
Rebates: $2,500 2500 Dodge
$500 Farm Bureau
Fees: $70
TOTAL: $35,611

I decided to change to the $2000 + 0% financing which saved another $3000 compared to a low 3.99% loan

Brian

BTW,
Great timing! I have had my 95' gas 5.9 Ram on sale for over a month. Sold it today!! I pick up my 2004.5 CTD graphite 2-tone, Auto, 4X4, 4.10, Laramie everything from Lithia Dodge in Eugene on Thursday!

Huntram,

Excellent Deal!

I thought I did great at $38K after the rebate (and that took about 7 hours of haggling)! Sounds like we got pretty much the same truck, except for the 4.10s.
After 1,000 miles, I am getting the same mileage on the third tank while towing, as I did on the first tank, empty.
Also, the only way I was gonna get 0% financing for 36mo, was to give up the $2500 rebate!
Congrats!
