Exclamation Need help with P0477 DTC

Just checked my truck and I'm getting a P0477 Exhaust Pressure Control Relay Low code. Anyone have an idea what this means?

Also, when I hold down the trip reset button and turn the key to on, the display spits out C 447, S 116, and what appears to be . 281. Any idea what these mean?

Thanks.

The text “C Code” is displayed in the odometer VFD for about three seconds. If there is no stored fault information, the display will show two pairs of zeroes in the format “00” “00”, which indicate that the display of fault information is done. If there is stored fault information, two sets of two-digit alpha and alpha-numeric fault codes will appear in the odometer display for a three second interval. The first pair of digits represents a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC), or fault code for the instrument cluster. The second pair of digits is a counter for the number of ignition key cycles that have occurred since the displayed DTC was set. The instrument cluster will continue to display additional sets of two pairs of digits at three second intervals until all of the stored codes have been displayed, which is again signaled by a code of “00” “00”. Refer to the Instrument Cluster Failure Message table for a description of each fault code that the instrument cluster displays. If an instrument cluster fault is displayed, use a DRBIII® scan tool to diagnose the problem. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.

P0477-LOW VOLTAGE ON THE ENGINE BRAKE DRIVER
For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W.
² When Monitored:
When the ignition is on.
² Set Condition:
When the signal from the engine brake driver output does not match the signal from the engine brake driver
feedback.
Possible Causes
WIRING HARNESS
ENGINE BRAKE DRIVER RELAY
FUSED B+ OPEN
ENGINE BRAKE DRIVER SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
ENGINE BRAKE DRIVER SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERY NEGATIVE
ECM
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE -
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)

Not really. It went away on its own after a couple weeks. The only thing I came up with was I had my exhaust brake harness unplugged for a couple days, and I think that triggered the code. It went away after I plugged it back in.

Mine threw the same same code. It only throws it though when I use my remote start. Anyone else find anything on this.

Do all of you guys have remote starters? My truck also threw the code p0477 and I think that it has something to do with the remote starter. My truck also threw P0513 incorrect immobilizer key. I think im rippin out the remote starter.

To those of you with the remote starts......sounds like the installer didn't hook up one of the power supplys at the ignition switch. That code will get set if the engine and everything else is running, and the exh. brake solenoid doesn't have power. Have them double check the install!

does anyone know what the 37 or 70 c code means. It came up on my odemeter after leaving my wife sit yesterday. It will not start and we are not sure where to start. We were wandering if an aftermarket remote start would have anything to do with it. we have an 03 dodge 2500 with 104,000 miles on it.
