Need Help???

Alright was drivin my dads truck tonight and thought it sounded like it developed a slight miss in it at a low rpm. The truck runs good. It is all stock other than a straight pipe. I thought I heard it the other day but didn't think anything bout it. Noticed it a bit worse tonight. Jus put the pipe on it yesterday so maybe thats why it sounded like it got worse today. Does this sound like a cracked injector to ya'll? Its an 06 3500 G56 build date is 8/05. I'm gonna try to crack the lines onit and see if I can tell anything and try not to freeze out here tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

DONT CRACK ANY LINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pressure in a 3rd gen can penetrate the skin getting diesel into the blood stream AND KILL YOU! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!

Ok never did get around to crackin the lines any ways. Not real motivated to work when it 20 degrees outside. Got a friend of mine to listen to the truck tonight. At a steady rpm you can hear the miss but accelerating rpms you can't hear it. Truck still runs fine jus like always. Its still runs smooth. I mean you have to listen to the truck to tell it. You can't tell it by just sittin in it. Its got 123k on it. Could it be something else besides injectors? Like lift pump?

Injectors, valve lash may need adjusted, tips, but if it were a "real" miss, the ECM would set a code for it. Some engines just have a bad resonate tone to them at certain rpm's.

No warranty? If no warranty, go for aftermarkets. I won't get into which ones or this, that, and the other, but do a search here on DTR. You'll find DAYS worth of reading material!
