Listen to this one. Trying to get my truck fixed and chyrsler say my truck is to heavy. They say my truck weighs 1200 pounds and the warrenty want cover it because its over 10k. I told them they was crazy. My truck with my new bed weighs about 8500. They must be stupid or something. They make these trucks and they should have more sense than that.

 

the GVW on my door sticker on my 03 dually is 12000. I don't see how they could void the warranty especially if your within the ratings.

 

Take it to a certified scale, like CAT or a local, and get a weight ticket. If they try to tell you that you took stuff off to make weight, tell them to show you a stamped weight receipt.

 

All ready planned on doing that. My truck has had problems from day one. They must be trying to find any excuse for my trucks problems. I put my other bed on after the problems started so they cant throw that at me. If they are betting on the weight thing they are in bad shape.
