Is my trans slipping??? Please help!

While towing my boat I have noticed a few times after coming to a complete stop it feels like my wheels are slipping on sand. not a grinding noise but more of a rubbing feeling, the same feeling you get while in sand. Problem is my wheels weren't slipping and were on flat dry roads. Also, I was not giving it alot of power, just slowly leaving stop lights. Truck now has 85k miles on it.
