The truck it too high for the wife to step up into.

Can anyone recomend and reasonably priced/looking side step bars?

Not sure on what they're officially called.

Several of us opted for Putco's polished stainless steel 4" boss bars too. Stays brilliant but still scratches (but buffs out).
Two complaints, Not enough toe room at rear of bar to suit me and even with flaps, mud still gets splashed between the bars and the rocker panels, (causes me to get on my knees to wash under the rocker panels)
If I had it to do again, it would be "Running Boards" instead of "Nerf Bars".

I've got the Westin Wheel to Wheel bars. I like them a lot. About $450 OTD.

I've got the Westin Oval Tube steps, chromed aluminum. I've only had them for about 4 months, but like them very much. If I had to do it over again, I might cough up the extra cash for the PUTCO 4" wheel-to-wheel bars though.

Take a look in my gallery for photos.

Another vote for the Putco Boss Bars. 4" tubing is sturdy looking and the install was a breeze. Kinda pricey at $600 or so out the door, but worth it, in my mind. I like the look of the bars as opposed to the running boards. They almost look like lake pipes. I even had one friend ask if they were steps or exhaust pipes.

THAT would be a cool product - combo dual exhaust lake pipes you can crawl on to get into the cab . . . . . . now where did I put that patent application?

I recommend Westin CPS bars. Lifetime warranty on the finish. Good quality and cheaper than putcos.

Look on ebay. You can get the SS Nasta nerfs for around $250.00. I paid $500.00+ for mine installed, ALL STAINLESS HARDWARE, bolt on. The bars are solid, and well worth the money on ebay. His shipping is cheap to boot. Do a search, "Nasta, Dodge", they are always there.

Did I say ALL STAINLESS?

Agreed. I got stainless bars made by cyc-engineering from ebay. They were just a tad over $245 with shipping included. I've had them for over a year with no issues.

Yup, the Raptors (CYC) are pretty good. I have had them on for 6 mo now w/ no problems. Plus the are T304 Stainless, so they'll never rust. If you look in my gallery you can see them. I think the pick was taken when the truck was kind of dirty, so they won't look as shiny, but when their clean-Bling Bling! -Steve
