location of b&m in trans pan

location of b&m in trans pan

where is the best place to drill a hole and mount the b&m drain plug in the transmission pan??

Passenger side of the pan, back half of the pan about 1/3 the distance from bottom of pan to top. Position it so you can still get to the pan bolts and you are good to go.

you installed on the side of pan is that what you meant?

I put mind in the bottom on the passenger side, toward the front.

once you got it off and looked behind pan is that how you determined location

Yeah, and instructions from other sites about installing a drain plug. Thats the best location to miss the VB. On the side is best to keep from wiping it off accidently and keeping any problems in the bottom of the pan so you can see them.
