Latest TSB Flash for 06 2500?

I am taking my 06 (purchased at the end of January) into the dealer in the next week or so to get the 7,500 mile service done. Then its gettting loaded up with the four wheeler and hooked to the camper and heading to West Virginia for the holiday weekend. I want to make sure that if there is a new technical service bulletin out there for a new flash for better mileage, that I get the dealer to do it. Want to get the best mileage possible towing the camper through the hills. Anybody have the latest TSB number(s) so that I can have the dealer check to see if they apply?

they dont have one for an auto out yet if thats what you have. The 6spd one was for a CEL, not milage. They have yet to come out with a true milage one

TSB #18-003-06

This is not for the mileage per say, but people have been claiming mileage increase. Myself I saw a good 2 mpg hand calculated after this TSB. It is actually for certain build dates, I dont remember which ones, and was to fix a white smoke at start up and hard starting at operating temperatures. This is for all, autos included.

I did not have white smoke or hard start realy and did the TSB for the mileage hope only. No side affects yet after about 500 miles except some more mpg.

Nitro - Did you have to tell them that there was a problem with hard starting to get them to do it?

I had my 2006 3/4 in at 4000 miles for oil change and they did one. The bill stated it was for perfomance and smoke. I did not have any problems at the time but the mileage increased about 1.5 and it seemed to have more power. I have had mine since last October.

My buddy is a service manager and I just asked him if there was a more recent flash. I told him I was hearing reports of mpg increase. He told me to bring it in and they flashed it.

I've only driven 14 miles so far so I can't comment on MPG yet. I'll let you all know what my hand calc is once I've run the tank out.

I had mine done in JAN. Not much mpg increase, if any at all. For what it is worth. It is an auto.
