No engine hesitation here. I have the injection pinging/rattle, dealer said its from the new injection event.

It's all good for me too. Built in 02/04 and just over 1,600 miles now. More power and fuel economy is gained w/every tank full

Hey Cummins600

It looks like you have the same truck as the one I have on order!
4x2 SLT 2500...

What kind of fuel economy are you getting? I don't think I've read any comments from a 600 owner with a two wheel drive.

Hi guys, I have a little over 1600 miles now and it runs like a top, when I first got the truck I thought I was having problems but I wasn't. This is the first diesel that I have owned. Every tank full I get better mileage. I started out with 15.4, nows its up to 17.3. I loaded up my 2- 1100# horses in my 3 place horse trailer and headed for the mountains, did some steep grades and I know that made a big differance when I checked my mpg the next day. I'm sure I will get about 18-20 mpg after breaks in.

Thumbs up

I've got about 1900 miles on mine. I drive it every day to work and just got home from Death Valley Nat Park. (600 mile round trip. ) The truck has never had a hesitation problem and seems to have more power than when I picked it up.

The only minor disapointment is I only get 13.7 mpg but I drive it like it's stolen.
I hit 108 up a long grade on HWY 395 watching a new F150 with the 5.4l get smaller and smaller in my mirror, .

I suppose it's hard to get 20mpg going up hills like that but I hope my MPG improves. I haven't actually tried the calculate my actual milage but I get a little over 500 miles to a tank right now.

Wink

I ordered my truck too. I got it 2 days after it reached the Hadley auto transport in Mira Loma CA. The dealer will have to PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) it and get it ready for you. I had mine Line-Xed so it took an extra day 2 total after reaching Hadley Auto Transport.

I can honestly say this truck has exceded all my expectations. You will not be disapponted.

Turbo Boy, I'm on the other side of the valley - I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a silver SRW 3500 around SCV! If I flag you down, can I have a ride?

Yeah, why not. The local dealer has a $5000 markup on the window sticker. Power Dodge in Valencia. NO love there for a local boy. The only reason I'd go there is to test drive a dodge and I may try them for warrenty repairs and service
being there right down the street.

I bought mine from Dependable Dodge in Canoga Park under the AAA program.

Your gonna love the 600. Far supirior to a gasser. Sure a RT/10 Viper truck, or the 911 Carrera 2 I sold to buy this truck will beat this truck in a race but the amount of torque this thing puts out is incredible.

The engine is also very quiet for a Diesel which is nice for the neighbors in the morning. I reccomend the stick being that I build about 200 transmissions a year in my job. I hope to get 10 good years out of mine a 30k miles a year.
