Just curious....I'm thinking of getting one installed and have been quoted anywhere from $1750 to over $2000 from 4 local Dodge and one Cummins dealer in the Sacramento/Stockton area.

What have you guys been paying?

I am in ASE master tech, in Brentwood, about 1 hour from Stockton.
I just really want to see the fit and finish of one before I buy.

 

I think the going rate for parts and labor is around $1700.

 

Hey neighbor! Thanks for the kind offer. I'm inclined to go with a dealer install due to the fact that I have a DC extended warranty that will cover the e-brake IF it is installed by an authorized DC dealer. BTW, I'm in Woodbridge (Lodi), not too far away!

 

1400 for the Jacobs installed and 1250 for the Pac Brake installed. I just set up the appointment today and I went for the Pac. I am thinking I might go for air bags later and I would already have an air tank that way. The service manager had a Pac on his old truck and put a Pac on his new truck. He said both are great. He is also installing my edge juice w/attitude for 100.

 

$1250 installed, huh. Is this on a manual or automatic tranny? And where are you located/what dealer are you going to? Thanks!

Do you know if the PacBrake kit for our trucks requires the tranmission controller? I can't seem to get an answer on this.
