I now have 700 miles on my truck!! Unfortunetly looks like a rock went through and hit the intercooler. It cracked the plastic honycomb grill piece and put about a 1 inch flat spot on the intercooler. Really just cosmetic. Is there a secret way to straighten out the intercooler fins where it was flattened?? I guess I am lucky it didn't hit the windshield. Easier and cheaper to replace the grill piece then a new windshield.

 

I've seen devices that are used to straighten out the find of an A/C condensor. If you can find one, perhaps it will work on the intercooler as well?

 

thats what i would suggest being an a/c tech myself. see if u can find a local a/c parts dealer near u. i would say there from $5-$10. its like a comb for coils. just take it easy when u use it.
