Injectors goin out?
So I'm thinking I might have a sticky injectors? That's what the dealer says. So what tells me I'm having issues is that when I drive with my foot in it and I let off and push the clutch in my RPM fly up and a couple times it's gone up to the red line.
My truck has a bully dog torque dog and a power pup down loader with a AFE brute force intake exhaust brake and 5 inch exhaust no cat and stock everything else on the motor is stock as far as I know. I do have a SB DD clutch also if that matters

Nope it starts up just like new and it has never ran hot some times at an idle it will idle up by it's self to about 1000 but other than that it's just the rpm jump after I let off the throttle and push in the clutch.
I'm thinking this is a control or software issue. These are electronic injectors that spray on and off 3 times per event. They open and close extremely fast. If they did not close it would not run and it would smoke and smell like fuel awful.
Maybe the TPS on the accelerator pedal is sticking not sending an idle contol signal to the ECM as soon as the pedal is released? The ECM does ramp the actual speed somewhat slower than the command if the pedal is chopped on or off abruptly. maybe a parameter in the program that controls the ramp rate is messed up somehow.
The 1000 rpm idle is controlled by several factors, e-brake, air temp, time at rest, engine temp. It should up the idle if very cold and all conditions are met.
Just some ideas.

Alright thanks ill run the stock tune for awhile and see if the problem and also I do have a recall on th cruise control making it idle up but the dealer said it shouldn't make the rpm's jump after I lift off the throttle and push in the clutch. If I do run the stock tune and the problem is still there, what's my next step?
Well the rpms are jumping due to the engine being fueled when it shouldn't be. Meaning either rail pressure is spiking and not falling like it should when you let off the throttle, or an injector is sticking. So the next step would be to check rail pressure.

So I have come to the conclusion that my injectors are bad. So what is a good brand I'm not looking to produce a ton of power but I do like performance. And I would like to stay with the stock fuel pump ect. Or does anyone know if or where can you get stock injectors rebuilt?
