Injector Removal

I am going to put new Injectors in my ctd. The service manual says it will require two special tools one to remove the injector its self and the fuel connetor tube tool. Is there any way I can get by without them?

Wrong All you need is a small pry bar to pull the injectors out after you remove the 2 bolts.

Did mine friday, this was the 3rd time

Thanks, Do you need the tool to remove the fuel connector or does the fuel connector even need to come out? Where is a good place to find a good price on them?

The connector tube does need to come out, but you can yank it out without a tool just your hand (good luck)

Here's the best post I've seen on injector installs.
