2004.5 started to make a rattling noise from number one injector, and when you hear the noise you can also feel it. seems to run fine but then gave a code p0251 then i started messing with it and unplugged wires from cp3 and it gave another code p0088. still running fine but engine light came on. it is parked until i can get it figued out. i am thinking probably number one injector.
one mechanic suggested maybe a cracked injector. a pull a lot but take care of it. running no mods other than a s&b air intake.

 

Replace the EFC part #05183245AA. Call Dodge dealership see if it is covered first. p0088 caused by unplugging EFC pump went to full pressure, don't recomend unplugging with engine running could do damage. If fuel pressure becomes excessive, the pressure limiting valve opens and vents excess pressure into the fuel drain circuit.

 

Before you go, stick the factory air box back on. 20 minutes will save you from losing the warranty, cause you never know if a big wig from DC will be there.
