Injector Pump Problem????????

If I accellerate hard my truck will stumble like it is running out of fuel... I let off of the accellerator pedal completely and then slowly push it and it will come back and run fine.... it also does this if i get up around 80 mph.... I have 105,000 on the original injector pump and have recently upgraded to the FASS fuel system lift pump trying to resolve this problem. Do ya'll think my problem will be my injector pump or is there something else that could cause this same problem? Thanks, Kevin

have you checked your rail pressure?

kevinmwoods Sep 28, 2009 01:55 PM

No I will have to get a gauge... what is the minimum pressure that I should have on the rail?

If the rail pressure is ok and it will variy based on load and RPM, It might be injectors or something with the harness.
