I have 7,000 miles on my 05' 6 spd. I have an edge juice with attitude, 5" exhaust, and AFE intake. Every once in a while, over 2,000 rpms, it will cut out for a split second. I once had the check engine light come on with an error code, but it only happened one time, then went away. Not sure what the problem is, but it is making me nervous. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Need to pull the code.It set one and or take box out of system and see if it still occurs.

 

The code is gone now, and it has not happened since. It was an injector overfuel code, I was wondering if it was a common problem for the engine or because of the chip?

 

Well I read this forum and TDR daily.First time I've seen a post on it.Call the BOX manufacture and ask them.I'd take it out of the system for a while and see if it resets.Bet its the box being a overfuel code.

 

You could cycle the key three times and see if the code was stored. If it was report it here or look in the tech thread for the code list and see what the exact wording for the code is.
