identification label

I am looking at trading in my 95 ctd for a 2006 2500 QC long bed. Where is the label that says what tranny, and what rear end/front end and axle ratios this thing has ?? I looked in the glove box, under the hood, no labels I have seen say anything of much use. The one I am looking at is used with 19000 for $30k
Thanks

It should of been in the glove box. check again. If it not, Your best bet is to give the vin to dealer and have them print you up a build sheet. they can also give you a history report. Theres a fender tag on the pass side rad support but you'll need to know your #s to decode that.
If you go ebay yoou will see 06's brand new starting at $31995. Slt,4x4,cummins.quad cabs. plus, cheap financing.

As many have said earlier, there is no data sheet other than the window sticker on the 06's. Nothing informatiove in the glove box either any more. Differential ratios are based on standard items, if different it's on the window sticker (hopefully) and if it is an auto tranny it's a 48RE.
