how to tune up a sluggish 03?
a buddy of mine has an 03 cummins with a 305 with an edge ez in it and is complaining it is gotten very weak and needs a tune up. truck has roughly 180,000 kms on it. i told him some basic stuff he coould try but i am wondering if anyone else has some ideas?

If he has not towed anything in a long time the injectors my be carboned up. So he can hook it to a loaded 4+K trailer an drive it for several hours up some big hills to heat it up and burn out the carbon.

Tell your buddy to spend some green.........Intake,exhaust,Fass or airdog,gauges and to top it off and make it go SMARTY
. Then the slippery slope of turbo or turbos, tranny if auto or clutch manual. Head studs, cam, cp3 pump or two!.......... ENDLESS!
