How hard is it to change the u-joints on these trucks?

How hard is it to change the u-joints on these trucks?

i have done some u-joints before but how hard is it to replace them on my '03 3500?

what u-joints do you guys recommend? part numbers would be helpful......

Precision u-joints from ROCKAUTO.com

takes about 5 minutes to change the joints 6 hours of artistic profanity to get the spindles of with a 10 pound sledge!!!

i think i have one on my rear driveshaft making a little howling noise @ 67-68mph.......so there are not major tricks on these dodges, just straight forward?

It was a PITA when I did mine.... the old ones just didn't wanna come out.... I thought I was going to tear up the drive shaft trying to slide the caps off...
Have a good vise, a 3/4" or 15/16" long socket, and a sledge hammer and don't let your arm get fatigued or you will hurt yourself or the shaft!
