HO - w/3.73 and 6sp noise @ 2,250

HO - w/3.73 and 6sp noise @ 2,250
While cruising at 2,250 RPM I hear a rolling type, valve? detonation? noise. Is this normal?, I have been avoiding cruising at this rpm. (75mph). Purrs at 70 or 80.
