HELP!!! Losing about 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles!

I checked the intake side of the turbo, looks good, no excessive play in the shaft at all.

HOWEVER, the bottom of the boot was folded back and it doesn't look like it was on properly, don't know how much "unfiltered air" would be getting in, but I'm sure some did.

I've NEVER taken it off before, and I sure the guy before me didn't, so must have come that was from the factory.

What kind of issues could that produce?

Well, I took it to the dealer and guess what the problem is..........too much idle time!!!! What a friggin JOKE!!!! I DO NOT idle my truck, I start it and go. I've put about 6000 miles on since June, and the 6 new injectors, and it has done this since day one. Don't know if it matters, but my average speed is 40.7 mph, seems higher than a lot of guys on here.

The thing is, 2 weeks before I checked codes on my smarty and there was none! I think they are jsut trying to blow smoke up my butt. Anyways, not sure what to do at this point, take it to another dealer, closest one is 110 miles away!
