Help---Dodge Ram CTD Engine Codes
 

My 2004 CTD is showing an engine code of P0868.

The list I have does not show this number. However the list I have was printed from a Durango. Are all DC products using the same codes? Would a Jeep Liberty, Dodge Ram, etc. be using the same codes?

Any info on this would be appreciated. And does anyone know what the P0868 means?

Look here. It says it's something about trans fluid pressure low.

Here is what 04 Power Train Diag manual says about the code:

Symptom:
P0868-GOVERNOR PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTS TOO HI

When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0868-GOVERNOR PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTS TOO HI

When Monitored: Continuously with the key on and the engine running.

Set Condition: This code will set when the voltage from the governor pressure sensor is
above 4.89 volts for 8.5 seconds.
