grid heaters cycling

ever noticed your grids cycling with out a wate to start light? i went out and fired it up and noticed the grids cycling, but it dident give me a wate to start light. its not too cold here, mid 40's.

I was in Florida a couple of days ago and the grids where doing their thing also, I was a little surprised.

Sometimes my WTS light doesn't come on, but after the truck is started the grid heater starts cycling. I guess it's just a little too warm for the WTS light, but once the truck is running and pulling more cold air they come on.

gotta remember, it is called a 'wait to START light', once it is started, the heaters energize as needed, but no 'wait to start light', cause it already started
