Gear Shift Cable
My Bro was headed to work yesterday. He tried to pull out of the driveway, but truck wouldn't go into gear. Shifter moved up and down, but the truck stayed in neutral. He called for a tow, and the dealer sent someone out within 20 minutes. He got to work only 5 minutes late, and his truck was fixed and ready to go before lunchtime!! They replaced a gear shift cable. These are the same guys who took in my truck for the terrible howl in the rear end, after my dealer's service rep kept saying it was a normal breakin sound! Today I took my truck there (to my brother's dealer) because my shift indicator wasn't showing a lit square around 1st gear when it was in first. They replaced a module they had ordered for me for the tranny, did an oil change, rotated my tires, reflashed my computer for the slow gas guage(and they hadn't even heard about it till I told them about it today), took off a leaking tire and resealed it, and when I came back 2 and a half, hours later my truck was sitting ready to go outside!! Just goes to show what everybody says about some servicemen are awesome, and some just don't seem to care!:) :)
