Front Drive Shaft & Outer Tie rod ends
First thing to get out in the post is that this is a OME question not replacement or a fix. I have a 2006 with low, low miles but am approaching the point where I need to do some lubricant here and there.
After Googling I found an old thread there that SHOWS me what I should be looking for on the Front Drive Shaft for a lube point on this thread here: http://https://www.dieseltruckresour...e-t127834.html Outer Tie Rod Ends: Is there a zert for these? Looked can't find any. If there is one can some one PLEASE post a photo like the one that was posted for the Front Drive Shaft "zert". Thank you, SS |
Any suggestions for the outer tie rod end zert fittings?

My '05 has standard zerk fittings on the tie rod ends, not the flush ones like the cardan joint on the driveshaft. I'm not sure if they're OEM ends or not.

06 has grease zerks on tie rod ends--maybe you have "greasless" zerks on 'em
