Front brake squeal

Driving around town the front brakes will squeal a little. If I brake a little harder or a little less, it will stop. Is there some spray stuff to put on or is this some type of operator error. Any suggestions.

Two things are usually the culprit for this...
If you rest your foot on the brake pedal lightly, or brake with little pressure you will glaze the pads. (The material will glaze instead of being removed)
This glaze is a harder surface that the normal pad is and tends to make a squeal. The other culprit is if you tend to drive a lot in a dusty enviorment. The particles of dust get embedded in the pad and as they make contact with the rotor they also tend to make the noise. Brake harder than normal and see if that solves the issue. If it does for a little while, then I believe that you may have a pads dragging slightly, either by your actions or calipers not retracting the pad upon release of the brake pedal. Good Luck

Mr Bee thanks for the input. Just a little more input from me.
I drive with right foot only. I use the brake sparingly. I try to anticipate speed by letting off the "go pedal" first. Pretty much "normal" driving. Not a Zipper or Tailgater either. You may be right there on the glazing. I may need to be a little heavier at times on the brake. May have to drive like a some around here, when they cut in front and slam on the brakes . Now that you mention that I have not heard them since yesterday. Took the boat into Chicago Sea Ray for winterization . Boating season over here . As far as the dust, I do not think it is really dusty up here in northern Illinois.
Thanks for the help, any other suggestions?

Mine only squeals on light brake application. Once I get into it more or let off, the squeal stops. Temperature or load soes not matter. Took it to dealer, they said it was normal.

They also said that about the dakota 3 years ago, too! That problem was not fixed, until I did a 4 wheel brake job at 50K.

I think it's a material incompatibility problem between the rotors and pads.

Is DC using ceramic pads on the 25/3500? I know on the dakotas, ther were.
