I put the EMS kit on my rig about a year ago. If they haven't changed their kit, you will have to do some extra assembly that you wouldn't with the other kits. I would pay the extra $200-300 to have more assembly done. I noticed a better turning radius right away with mine. The truck seems to run smoother on the highway now that the whole driveline isn't turning.
First, I had to press in the wheel studs into the hubs. Sounds easy right? You've pounded in a hundred with hammers right? It took a 20 ton press to get them in on mine! Then, the stub shafts did not fit through the housing on my truck. I had to grind them down to fit. EMS has their shafts made by a company in Australia I heard. Incidentally, the mold wasn't quite precise.
I also had to have the bearing races pressed in. They are too wide to use a socket like you would do otherwise. Still a good kit, but you can have much of this already done with other systems.
Again, they may have changed some of this since I bought the kit at the end of 2007.

I'm still a ways out from affording anything, but I'll contact them with specific questions before I order anything. I do have a 20 ton press, but that doesn't mean I really want to use it
I spoke at length to the dynatrac folks at SEMA this year. Their set is definately nice and high end, but the price makes my ***** hurt. I'm running stock tires and am primarily interested in better mileage and street manners, not hard core rock crawling. The CTD sucks in the rocks compared to my Bronco.
