Engine vibrations felt in truck more than it used to be
Truck has 98k miles on it. Over the last several thousand miles I've noticed I can feel the engine transmitting vibrations to the truck more than I ever have. I've had the truck since new. It's most noticeable from about 1500-1800 rpm and worse with the more you load it. Does it in both 3rd and 4th gears locked up. I looked under truck and can't see anything out of the ordinary. Could the motor mounts be getting tired already? Thanks!

I would check u-joints 1st and then also think about your tires..
Take front and rear shafts off and move them by hand to see if they are working smoothly.
I had 19.5s for over 100k on mine and when they started to get worn down they drove worse. Not sure what tire/tread you run for 19.5s
I had Bridgestone R250s all around and from 95-105k the tires were problems in handling/balancing. I switched back to 17" tires once they wore out. But would think tires could also be some of your trouble if all the u-joints check out.

It's not speed related, it's rpm and load related. When loading it in 3rd or 4th gear locked up, you can feel the engine in the truck. Tires don't matter either, I've got my stockers back on and it's the same.

My neighbors 2006 is the same truck configuration as mind. His drive shaft through a balancing weight and the vibration cracked the tranny. I swapped three out of 5 d/shaft u-joints and now I vibrate 35-45 mph. The truck is going into the drive shaft specialist in two days to have them checked and replaced with custom shafts if necessary. My truck is in great shape but the d/s's for the rear axle are flaking real bad and that will throw things out of whack.
Keep us posted and I will do the same.

That's exactly what I've got! I haven't searched too hard yet but I haven't driven it much lately either. One thing I'm gonna try is putting the smarty back to stock and seeing if it changes.

Changing programs hasn't done anything for me. I have also changed out my torque converter with no change. Mine started out barely noticeable but now just turning 100k it vibrates enough at 1600 rpm to splash coffee out of a cup in the center console. Of course that's under a load.
The fluid damper did help but it just keeps getting worse. So frustrated...

I have changed out:
Harmonic balancer
Torque converter
Valve body
U joints
Center carrier bearing
Most of these were changed when the condition was light and I couldn't tell it was from the motor. But now I'm pretty **** sure it's in the motor. As you can really feel it when the torque converter locks up and makes that mechanical connection to the rest of the drivetrain.

Vibration gone @ high idle
So far the vibration is only present below 900 RPM. If I enable hi idle above 900 rpm its gone. Went thru some deep slush a day ago and its only 10 degrees outside. Maybe its stuff frozen to the dampener? Will look this weekend. Power is good during driving, empty. Thanks for the replies. 111,000 miles.
