Engine Parameters Used for Fueling?

Does anyone know what engine paramaters the computer uses/considers to meter the fuel or change the fuel map?

I know it uses in Intake Air Temperature, Throttle Position (pedal position), Manifold Pressure (boost), Crankshaft and Camshaft Position (timing), Engine RPM. What else if any?

My second question:

Is the fueling control for our diesels considered an "open loop" system, or is there some other feedback mechanism that makes it "closed loop" control.

I'm very familiar with gassers, but have limited experience with diesels.

Thanks in advance :D !

Just look at the wiring diagrams for the ECU. If there is a sensor, chances are it's used for fueling.

There is no exhaust sensor for these trucks. So open loop.
