Well I finally found out what is making my engine knocking noise, I get a noise on decell that sounds like a really loose rocker arm , and a sound that sounds like a wrist pin rattle. both noises are coming from my injection pump. it rattles on rpm decell, and goes into a knocking sound over 1200 rpms. do you think my pump is going to take a dump? I have a 2005 5.9 6spd with 89.000 miles on it . the dealer says the noise is normal? Also the dealer has replaced all 6 injectors.

 

Could be fuel control actuator, covered under Cummins warranty. Return to your dealer refer to TSB 14-004-05
