I read on another forum about a guy who has rescued trucks that had the lift pump go out by running 3/8" Fuel hose from the metal fuel line right to the CP3 inlet. I have heard that the CP3 will suction but not through a dead pump.

Do you think it will pull through the GDP 2 micron setup as well? I really dont have the money right now to get the walbro and am heading down to Disney in Florida in a few weeks with the kids. I dont want to get stranded and this could be a way to get me to the campground where I can get if fixed.

Some people have used a hammer for getting the lift pump working again by tapping on it.

Yes but I want something that WILL work, not maybe.

 

You can limp it home like that, but I couldnt run it through the extra filter. Its hard on the cp3 in the first place, no need to put any extra stress on it.
