electrical problem

electrical problem

my friend has a 06 2500 mega cab with a electrical problem, he says his batteries will discharge over night without any apparent reason . so he has been disconnecting them untill he needs to use it... any ideas?

check the fuse panel with a test light and narrow it down from there something is definitely sucking it down if it's killing 2 batteries or could be junk batt.

Does he leave the keys in the ignition over night? This has caused some people issues. I think there is also a reflash for this issue.

we found the problem! bad alternator.... with engine off it gets hot
