My 06 Wont start and check DTC shows PO336 and PO513???

 

use the search feature, it may be faster for you sometimes. 513 is an invalid key code, sometimes caused by a downloader, sometimes false.

336 is crankshaft position sensor.

I have the BullyDog TripleDog and outlook on the truck, Friday my friend bought a 06 Ford and we thought we would see what it would do. So I put my truck back to stock and downloaded the tripledog 2.3.3 on the Ford and we rode around for a while. I put his ford back to stock and then attempted to Install it back on mine, everything showed to go ok. The Dodge started and ran for ten seconds then died. I have put it back to stock and still no start, so then I uploaded the 2.3.4 and installed on the truck and will not start. I checked the DTC's and it shows PO336,PO513. Being a holiday weekend nobody is at Bullydog and I need the truck running. Just trying to decide weather or not to just take it to the dealer in the morning or wait and try to get ahold of someone from Bullydog.

Are you sure they are interchangeable?? I thought that these programmers are only for a specific make of truck and often not even interchangeable year to year on some.

 

The program is called Tripledog because it is used on 06 Dodge, 06 Ford,06 Chevy It is printed on the front of the downloader. They claim it is able to go on all three makes.

 

Try disconnecting the batteries for 15 minutes or so to clear the ECM memory.

Well called bullydog when they opened this morning and they walked me through. Had to put in a bunch of numbers and my Vin# \. It started right up.

I Unpluged the battery earlier in the weekend but it did not work. The guy at bullydog said that unpluging it does not help when the program is putting out DTC's
