The DBL7349 replaced the ELF7349. Donaldson web site shows the DBL filters 15 micron @ 99% efficiency. But they don't show any product attributes for the ELF.

Anyone here know if the DBL and ELF have identical product attributes? Or not? Just want assurance that the ELF I just installed filters 15 micron! Thx!

It is my understanding, they are the same filter. The DBL has some different flutes on the can or something.

Neither filter has fluted end - instead perfectly smooth & round. So, end-cap wrench won't work.

DBL is blue color and ELF is black. Otherwise they're identical (on the outside).

SO ... assuming they're identical inside & out - why does the DBL replace the ELF? I don't get it.???

I've decided to replace the ELF with a Fleetguard Stratapore LF16035 asap! I don't like not knowing the specs of the ELF - not a good feeling. Can't go wrong with the Fleetguard!
